Now here’s an opportunity you can really sink your teeth into:
The Push Institute’s A Global Dinner Party.
A Global Dinner Party invites people from all over the world to host conversations
about change in their home, over food and fellowship. Notes, photos, and video from
each table are collected and edited for sharing through broadcast and print, and
quarterly multi-media reports hosted on the web. The 3-course menu of questions
changes every three months.
Our objective is to engage people from different backgrounds, cultures, and
geographies in conversation about the issues that affect us all, and listen.
What we learn will certainly be valuable for anyone leading change in families
and communities, as well as public policy and multi-national organizations.
The Push Institute’s A Global Dinner Party is designed to
Satisfy a craving for the kind of conversations that create and lead change,
where spicy debate is served and meaty connections made, where an insight
can skewer an assumption, and where humor and warmth cleanse the palate
between courses of provocative questions and fellowship.
Promote “change literacy”: a deeper understanding of the forces shaping
our world today, and tomorrow.
Broaden minds, hearts, and horizons through the diverse perspectives
and biographies represented at every Global Dinner Party.
Foster a strategic view of how seemingly distant forces have very real
influence on the conditions of our lives, preparing leaders, whomever/wherever
they are, to “Go Glocal.”
